• In 2010 is elected Chairman of the ASME Italy Section, a no profit engineering association part of the ASME network.
  • Since 2002 to 2007 he is appointed as Turbine-Generator Project Manager for the construction of the Unit 2 of the Cernavoda (Romania) Nuclear Power Plant. In this frame he manages a multidisciplinary  organization (with engineering, construction, contract management, planning and commissioning authority), the main contractors, General Turbo and General Electric, reporting directly to the Project Director.
  • Since 1998 to 2004 is committed as Inspector for Static Qualification of the canalization Public Works for Negrone and Senza Nome canals in Genoa.
  • Since 1993 to 1998 is appointed as General Director of the Engineering Company Simpro Componenti srl, located in Genoa, Milan and Legnano,  to whose start-up he contributed as co-founder.
  • In 1990 starts his own engineering business founding the Studio di Ingegneria Alicino. Later on, assumes the position of Technical Director of ALTECO srl.
  • Since 1989 to 1990 is appointed as manager of the Mechanical and Structural Design Office of the Handling Business Unit of Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali S.p.A.
  • Since 1986 to 1989 is appointed as manager of the Design and Analysis Office directly reporting to the Nuclear and Strategic Components Directorate of Ansaldo S.p.A. As part of his commitments is included the coordination at national level of all research and development activities related to the so-called ASUF 5190, regarding the Reactor Coolant System of the Italian PWR (PUN project).
  • Since September 1985 to April 1986 he moves to Westinghouse (Pittsburgh, PA) in the frame of the commitment as company coordinator for the design of the Reactor Coolant System of the Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) part of the PUN Project started in Italy.
  • Since  1984 to 1986 is appointed as Manager of Section of Structural Design of Main Equipment of Thermal Reactors in Ansaldo S.p.A. Nira Division.
  • Since 1980 to 1984 he joins to NIRA (Genova), where he was involved in mechanical and structural design. of nuclear power plant equipment.
  • Since 1979 to 1980 he works in the Division of Research Applied to Systems  of Olivetti (Ivrea).
  • Since 1978 to 1979 he performs teaching activity at Rome and Ancona Universities
